Improving collaboration between family physicians and pharmacists in coordinating chronic opioid therapy

This study is a partnership between EnACt and Alberta College of Family Physicians and is funded through a Health Canada Substance Use and Chronic Pain federal grant. It has received REB approval: Pro00113795.

Physician involvement:
EnACT would like to interview family physicians and pharmacists to know more about their role and thinking within the process of managing chronic opioid therapy or opioid agonist therapy (OAT). This would take one hour of time and take place over Zoom video conferencing. Participants may also be invited to participate in a focus group; this would take two hours of time, and take place by Zoom. As a participant, you will also be required to fill out a brief demographic questionnaire, taking less than five minutes. Honorariums will be offered for your time.
