Call for Interest: AMA RF Deputy Speaker

The Deputy Speaker of the AMA Representative Forum, Dr. Fredrykka Rinaldi, assumes the President-Elect position at the 2021 AMA Fall AGM. This will create a vacancy for the Deputy Speaker position.

A Special Call for Interest seeking nominees for the Deputy Speaker position opened May 10 and will close May 24. At the close of the call, applications will be reviewed by the AMA Nominating Committee. Once a nominee has been chosen, the membership will be advised via a Call for Nominations, 60-days prior to the AGM. An election will be held at the AGM if other candidates come forward.

Please note that the successful candidate will complete the current three-year term to fall 2022. At that point, the incumbent will be eligible to serve a second, three-year term (if again nominated, and acclaimed or elected, under our regular processes).

To view details of the Deputy Speaker position and apply, please visit the AMA committee recruitment web application (login required). Applications are due May 24.
