AHS seeking providers for CSF Services
Expressions of interest are due February 28
Alberta Health Services is seeking qualified individuals to provide insured surgical procedures within the province at contracted surgical facilities (CSFs). Every year, more than 293,000 surgical procedures are completed in Alberta’s hospitals. AHS delivers surgical care at 55 hospitals and funds over 40,000 procedures in CSFs.
This provision of additional CSF services is to meet the objective of expanding the number, volume and scope of insured surgical procedures contracted through CSFs as a part of the Alberta Surgical Initiative. This expansion is focused on those CSF providers currently approved by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta.
